Meet Brian Stahl

Brian is a Christian, husband, father, law enforcement officer, and lifelong public servant. For over 20 years, he has proudly worn the badge to protect and serve our community—and now he is ready to take that service to the next level.

Brian has been married to Zoe for 18 years, and together they’re raising three amazing kids. The oldest son is heading off to the University of Alabama, the younger son is going into 8th grade, and their daughter will be in 2nd grade this fall. Like any parent, Brian wants to leave behind a better, safer, and stronger community for our children.

Service That Runs Deep

Brian’s career in law enforcement has taken him from the front lines to leadership. I’ve served as:

  • Field Training Officer

  • Undercover Narcotics Officer

  • SWAT Team Member

  • Air Support Officer

  • Full-Time Firearms Instructor

Today, Brian serves as a Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Covington and a Task Force Officer with the Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations (DHS/HSI). Brian has been awarded with the Silver Star of Bravery from the American Police Hall of Fame, along with multiple awards for meritorious conduct and certificates of merit.

Brian has sat on the Use of Force Review Board, provided peer support for officers after critical incidents, and advocated for mental health and suicide prevention through his work as a Founding National Board Member of Survivors of Blue Suicide.

Community First

Whether it's helping grieving families through his past role with Concerns of Police Survivors, managing donations for the Andrew Esparza Memorial Foundation, or training teachers for active shooter response—Brian’s focus has always been simple: protect and serve.

Brian has worked on school safety committees, helped shape policy, and brought people together to make our neighborhoods safer and more connected.

Why is Brian Running?

Our community deserves proven leadership, not empty promises. Brian brings 20 years of experience making tough decisions under pressure, standing up for what's right, and putting people before politics.

“This campaign isn’t about me—it’s about us. It’s about protecting our families, supporting our schools, respecting law enforcement, first responders and veterans, and building a future we can all be proud of.”

Brian is ready to serve. He is ready to lead. And with your support, he’ll fight every day to make our community stronger, safer, and more united while staying true to Texas conservative values.
